Powerups

As you play BrickWarrior and destroy the bricks on the screen, occasionally a powerup capsule will drop from a destroyed brick (this happens randomly with a one in 5 chance). Some of them are good, some of them are bad, and this page will describe them, what they do, and how to use them. Please note that the sounds will not appear unless you are using Internet Explorer.
Name Picture Sound Description
Updown Enables the paddle to move up and down, as well as sideways
Catch Makes the ball stick to the paddle. You can move the paddle around with the ball stuck to it, then click the mouse to let go of the ball
Fast Makes the ball go faster
Slow Slows the ball down
Thin Makes the paddle skinnier
Wide Makes the paddle wider, but at a certain size it gets a split, and any more wides will make it split in two, and one of the halves falls off the screen.
Triple ball Splits each of the balls on the screen into three, for a maximum of nine balls bouncing around
Protect Puts a gold line of protection at the bottom of the screen, that the balls will bounce off. It only lasts one level, or until a ball bounces off it.
Random Random sound Randomly gives you a powerup: sometimes good, sometimes bad
Purple Bubble Upgrades the ball. A green ball will become a bubble ball. A yellow or red ball will become a purple ball. Purple balls smash even gold bricks.
Red Bubble Upgrades the ball. A green ball will become a bubble ball. A yellow or purple ball will become a red ball. Red balls go straight through bricks.
X Kills the paddle by turning it red. Balls will go through a red paddle, and the only way you can recover your paddle without losing a ball is by getting another powerup.
