What is BrickWarrior?

BrickWarrior has been decribed as: 'The king of games' 'The meaning of life'. But what is BrickWarrior? This very question has plagued mankind for millions of years.

BrickWarrior, in a word, can be defined as: 'TREMENDOUS'. It simply cannot be boxed in by some stereotypical comment, as a 'mere computer game'. In fact, the only thing that has ever come even close is MacBrickout, except for the fact that MacBrickout runs on Mac's, while BrickWarrior runs on the far superior PC platform.

All right, maybe that was a bit biased :)
BrickWarrior started off in early 1998, when I discovered MacBrickout, and upon being told that we wouldn't be using the Mac's in year 12, some of my friends and I went about developing a version for the PC, so we could still (in a sense) play MacBrickout. Our initial mission statement for the development of BrickWarrior was to 'clone MacBrickout, and surpass it', and that mission statement is now being fulfilled.

BrickWarrior is a brick game, where the game screen consists of several rectangular 'bricks' on the screen, a ball, and a paddle (see images below). The player can control the paddle with his/her mouse and bounce the ball off it, and every time the ball hits a brick, that brick either disappears or gets weaker. The twist? If the ball goes off the bottom of the screen, you lose it. You start off with four balls (three in reserve and one in play).

Bricks: Some bricks

Ball: A ball

Paddle: The paddle
